Job Title: Hospital Services Technician

Pay Rate: $19.60/hr

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule and Locations:

• Monday: Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley and Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs
• Tuesday: Kaiser Ontario and Kaiser Fontana
• Wednesday: Temecula Valley Hospital
• Thursday: Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley and Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs
• Friday: Kaiser Ontario and Kaiser Fontana

Key Job Activities:

1. Travel between healthcare facilities to collect and exchange waste containers for services such as Sharps Management, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management.
2. Interact professionally with onsite staff to meet or exceed service expectations.
3. Maintain a strict collection and service schedule.
4. Communicate duty status on a scheduled basis.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned.
6. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds, involving extensive walking, bending, and lifting.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of work experience or a High School diploma/equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
• Mandatory immunizations and credentialing may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computer and handheld software applications, including spreadsheets and KPI tracking tools.
