Position Purpose:

Hospital Services Technicians travel between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management.

Key Job Activities:

1. Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various Stericycle programs and services.
2. Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
3. Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule.
4. Communicates duty status on a defined schedule.
5. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
6. Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and push and/or pull carts weighing as much as 500 pounds.

Experience:

1. 2+ years’ work experience or High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Demonstrate strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations.
3. May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between customer facilities.
5. Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
6. Knowledge of computer/handheld software applications including spreadsheets and application-based programs to track daily KPIs.

Schedule:

Start Time: 5:00AM (Mon-Fri)

Monday: Mercy Hospital (Oshkosh, WI)

Tuesday: Bellin Hospital (Green Bay, WI)

Wednesday: St. Elizabeth Hospital (Appleton, WI) & Calumet Hospital (Chilton, WI) - Every Other Week

Thursday: Mercy Hospital (Oshkosh, WI)

Friday: Bellin Hospital (Green Bay, WI)

***Schedule is subject to change based on business needs***

***Roughly 34 hours/week***
