Qualifications

Proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
Keyboard/data entry experience and ability to handle basic clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all age groups.
Accurately label and process specimens according to laboratory protocol.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
Data entry and processing of specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required by test order.
Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures and ensure all staff follow instructions.
