Job summary

Bodycote, the world’s largest provider of thermal processing services, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate - Level C based near Canton, MI. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm, with growth opportunities as you learn heat treating under the supervision of the Production Manager.

Entry level candidates will learn operations, safety, and equipment handling while progressing through Level C–A responsibilities. This role emphasizes reliability and teamwork in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have working knowledge of metallurgy, temperatures, etc.
• May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work for processing; loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets.
• Brings any unusual problems or irregularities to the attention of the supervisor.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• Care and treatment of customer inventory and perform duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Report for work on time, follow directions, interact with co-workers, and follow rules.
