Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to company codes of conduct and policies.
• Inform manager of workload and fluctuations.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
• Apply medical privacy regulations to prevent disclosure.
• Manage patient health records.
• Prepare new patient charts from paper or electronic sources.
• Ensure records are complete and properly ordered.
• Create digital images of paperwork for EMR storage.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal/external sources.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls.
• May assist with patient walk-ins.
• Assist with administrative duties (faxes, mail, data entry).
• Meet productivity expectations.
• May schedule pick-ups.
• Other duties as assigned.
