Governors Club in North Carolina is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Golf Course Grounds Maintenance team. This entry-level position supports the golf course maintenance crew through various small tasks and seasonal duties.
Responsibilities include mowing fairways and greens, basic carpentry/painting, irrigation repairs, tree trimming, operating small equipment, raking bunkers, and assisting with sod, bunker renovations, and project work as needed.

Golf Course Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position to aid the golf course maintenance team in small tasks related to mowing and course conditioning. Individuals should have the ability to operate primarily small equipment such as string trimmers, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, sand pro, and utility vehicles. Based on their experience and quality of work, these operators may be requested to learn to operate larger equipment.
Mowing Fairways, woodworking, painting, irrigation repairs, tree trimming, operating small equipment, walk mowing greens, set golf course; cut cups, move tee markers, hand raking and power raking bunkers, string trimming creeks and other parts of the course, edging curbs. Help to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc. Help ensure the maintenance facility is kept neat and clean, and all equipment is being washed off properly.

Full-Time: Regular employee averaging 32 or more hours per week after 90 days

Rate of Pay: Starting at $16 - $19+ per hour-DOE
