Job summary

TPC Louisiana in Avondale, LA is seeking an Equipment Operator I to help maintain the golf course grounds. This entry-level position operates equipment and performs tasks to keep the course in top condition, with starting pay at $15.00 per hour.

The role requires following directions, completing maintenance logs, and performing daily tasks to keep the facility clean, organized and safe while learning operations such as line trimming, edging, bunker work and related duties under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Ability to understand and follow directions and operate golf course machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain logs for operation, maintenance, and gas usage of each machine.
• Perform daily tasks to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and safe.
• Clean machinery after each use.
• Inspect machines and report deficiencies to the Equipment Technician(s).
• Assist with tasks and routine golf course maintenance under direction of supervisors.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment as required.
• Perform tasks such as line trimming, edging, divot filling, and backhoe operations.
