Job summary

TPC Louisiana, located just outside New Orleans, seeks an Equipment Technician to assist in maintenance and repair of golf course equipment for the Golf Course Maintenance department. The role requires a high school education and demonstrated mechanical experience with small engines or turf equipment.

Starting at $20.00 per hour, this full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for hands-on learning and professional growth within the PGA TOUR network.

Qualifications

• High school education, and preferably secondary course of study in mechanics, or trades training plus at least one year’s mechanical experience working with small engine repair and/or turf equipment, or equivalent experience in turf equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Equipment Manager in preventative and curative maintenance for all golf course equipment.
• Complete daily service records and maintain parts inventory.
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and safe for staff.
• Follow safety and operations manuals for each task; wear PPE as required.
• Take on special projects or other duties as assigned.
