Job summary

Tactica Solutions LLC is seeking a GIS Technician to support mapping, infrastructure-data management, and installation planning at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. The role focuses on keeping GeoBase and asset information accurate and accessible for planning decisions.

Responsibilities include updating SDSFIE datasets, creating maps for TNAP and AMPs, and integrating GIS data with BUILDER, PAVER, and NexGen IT, while performing QA/QC and providing on-demand spatial-analysis support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of GIS experience.
• Background investigation for Tier 1 access required.
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update GeoBase data per SDSFIE and data models.
• Create and manage GIS maps for TNAP, Utilities, and Facilities AMPs.
• Develop mapping products for infrastructure planning and inventories.
• Integrate GIS data with Sustainment Management Systems (BUILDER, PAVER) and NexGen IT.
• Troubleshoot spatial-data transfer issues and perform QA/QC on asset data.
• Provide on-demand mapping and spatial-analysis support for project planning and IDP/CPP.
