Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Hartford, CT is seeking an Endoscopy Technician entry-level to support the endoscopy unit under RN supervision. You will prepare procedure rooms, assist with endoscopic procedures, and ensure rooms and equipment are cleaned and ready for use, while adhering to regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided on-site; future opportunities to advance to Endoscopy Technician 2 are available

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; training provided on-site.
• BLS provider certification within 60 days of hire.
• English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares procedure rooms for endoscopic procedures and cleans rooms/equipment after use.
• Assists with endoscopic procedures and provides care under RN/provider supervision.
• Maintains infection prevention measures and regulatory compliance.
• Transports patients and specimens as needed.
