Job summary

Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK office is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to perform routine to complex geotechnical sampling, inspection and testing in the field, and prepare daily reports. The role requires strong initiative and good communication in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include soil and groundwater sampling, laboratory testing, data reporting, and assisting in proposal writing and technical reports. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology.
• EIT or GIT (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 0 to 3 years' experience in geotechnical field engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil and groundwater sampling, logging, observations and testing to verify conformance to plans and specs.
• Submit daily field reports and data reports summarizing activities.
• Geotechnical laboratory testing experience is a plus.
• Conduct engineering calculations under supervision of a professional engineer.
