This full-time position includes traveling to job sites using a company vehicle and performing installations and services on standby generators. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in generator electrical work.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable working in the field with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform complete install on whole-home standby generators.
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Clearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and any recommendations.
• Accurately document all work in our service management software.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricity.
• Support emergency service calls during weather-related outages or storms, as needed.

We are hiring a dependable and skilled Entry Level Generator Technician to join our growing team. This field-based role is ideal for candidates with mechanical and electrical repair experience—particularly with small engines, standby generators, or automatic transfer switches (ATS).

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle
• Perform complete install on whole-home standby generators

• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
