Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field; or equivalent combination.
Knowledge of analytical methods, laboratory practices, and safety.
Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Quantitative sample analysis by Gas Chromatography.
Preparation of data summaries for client reports.
Sample and standard preparation.
Instrument calibration and validation.
Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintaining organized records of sample preparation and analysis, equipment maintenance, and data collected.
Participating in process improvement projects to increase efficiency.
Supporting method development for analytical optimization.
Communicating relevant updates to applicable people in a timely manner.
Compliance with QA/QC programs and Health and Safety Plan.
Performing other duties as assigned.
