RECONN is hiring in Dearborn, MI for entry-level gas leak surveyors. You will work outdoors, use basic surveying tools, and participate in paid training. The role may include weekend work and overtime with a company vehicle and benefits. A safe driving record helps, and standing/walking for long periods is required.

Starting pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced utility environment focused on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and handheld tools.
• Customer service experience is a plus and helpful for homeowners.
• Able to pass a drug screen and maintain a safe driving record.

Responsabilités

• Survey gas lines using equipment to assess pipeline integrity.
• Investigate, classify, and document any detected leaks.
• Travel locally during the business day; some overnight travel may occur.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and homeowners.
