Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Installer to repair, replace, and install garage doors at customer locations in the Town of Riverhead. You will work with a company-provided vehicle and tools, offering trained service and safety-first execution.

You will educate customers on options, perform repairs, and on-site installations, while managing inventory in your vehicle and following company processes. Training is provided, and strong customer service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in heat and cold, outside and inside garages.
• Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.
• Communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but not required – we will train you.
• Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garage doors, door operators, and worn or broken parts.
• Educate the customer on options to repair and prevent future issues.
• Sell services, repairs, and new equipment using a good/better/best model and collect payment.
• Manage inventory and parts in your vehicle for on-site service.
