Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a motivated Garage Door Installer to join our team. You’ll be trained and provided with a company vehicle to start, plus the tools needed to grow your career and income.

You will repair, replace, and install garage doors and help customers understand service options to get the job done correctly. You’ll work independently with support from a strong office and team, enjoying autonomy while meeting safety standards and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are a plus (not required).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in heat and cold, both outside and inside garages.
• Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.
• Be reliable and able to serve our customers following our process.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garage door parts and equipment on-site at customer locations.
• Educate the customer on repair options and ensure they understand the work performed.
• Sell services, repairs, and new equipment using our model; collect payment from customers.
• Manage inventory in your vehicle to properly sell and service the equipment.
