Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum inspection experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and tolerances.
• Basic working knowledge of GD&T.
• Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to use calibration software such as Gage Trak.
• Must be able to clearly convey ideas and information in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate instruments.
• Disassemble gages and inspect components for defects.
• Measure parts for conformity with specifications.
• Reassemble and calibrate gages and instruments.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure accurate results.
• Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair plans.
• Communicate problems to supervision and help find solutions.
• Participate in 5S workplace activities and sustainment.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is expected.
• Overtime or alternate shifts may be required based on business needs.
