Job summary

Collins Aerospace Carbon Operations in Spokane, WA is hiring an entry-level Furnace Deck Operator I to support carbon brake component production. The role covers loading/unloading, maintenance, operation, and monitoring of high-temperature furnaces, cranes, and forklifts to meet quality and delivery targets.

You will work in a team-driven environment, follow SOPs, ensure safety, and gain exposure to process control, equipment maintenance, and production flow in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a HS diploma or GED.
• Experience using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Interact with engineering and other groups on technical matters.
• Uphold process integrity and ensure quality during furnace operations.
• Adhere to EH&S regulations and proactively address hazards.
• Follow SOPs to maintain safety and product quality.
• Use basic to intermediate computer skills for data entry and monitoring.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
