Job summary

SEI in Oaks, PA is seeking an entry-level Fund Accountant to join the Alternative Investment Funds accounting team within the IMS division. You will be the intermediary and official record keeper for hedge and private equity funds, supporting accurate accounting and administration for clients.

You’ll use Microsoft Excel to maintain fund records, perform NAV reconciliations, and assist with audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• Internship experience is preferred, with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fund records and price hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources.
• Perform reconciliations and reporting for Net Asset Values and provide accounting reports to clients.
• Coordinate year-end audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and government regulations.
• Communicate daily with external investment managers to address fund inquiries and reconciliations.
• Engage in IMS professional development sessions to improve processes.
