Job summary

Kentucky Kingdom Theme & Water Park in Louisville is seeking an Entry-Level Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support our ride teams. You will perform daily safety inspections and preventive maintenance to keep attractions operating safely and reliably.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, are at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and can provide basic tools. You will join a welcoming team and contribute to a safe, fun guest experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety inspections to keep rides operating safely and efficiently.
• Complete preventive maintenance on rides and equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic ride systems.
• Following all safety protocols, rules, and regulations with precision.
• Documenting work performed, including time, materials, and maintenance records.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tools and equipment.
• Conducting scheduled inspections and overhauls to maximize ride reliability.
• Collaborating with team members and assisting coworkers as needed.
• Taking on additional responsibilities to support the Maintenance team’s success.

What You’ll Do

As a Rollercoaster Technician, you’ll be part of the crew that keeps the excitement running at full speed. Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

Performing daily safety inspections to keep rides operating safely and efficiently.

Completing preventive maintenance on rides and equipment.

Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic ride systems.

What We’re Looking For
