Job summary

Nationwide Technology is seeking an entry-level full-stack developer to help integrate security into the SDLC and improve the Developer Experience (DevXP). You will design and build security accelerators, work with Java, JavaScript, Python, and Kubernetes, and contribute to CI/CD tooling while learning cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Ideal candidates have curiosity, collaboration, and strong communication, with an eagerness to learn and adapt in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, MIS or related degrees preferred; tech experience can substitute.
• Early career opportunity with one or more years of technology experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript; SDLC knowledge; problem-solving and teamwork.
• Insurance/financial services industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, document, and deploy software according to engineering standards.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data and systems.
• Use DevSecOps practices, tooling, and techniques.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement and learning.
• Review and process project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactively.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
