Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, and keep the front-end area organized and welcoming.

This role offers variety and requires the ability to adapt to changing customer flow in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes friendly service, attention to pricing, and accuracy in order completion while supporting store operations and maintenance throughout

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state requirements
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout, scanning items and handling purchases
• Bag groceries and maintain organized checkout area
• Answer questions and provide friendly service
• Handle transactions accurately and collect payments
• Restock supplies and return carts as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-end area
• Address pricing or customer service questions as they arise
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Adapt to changing customer flow during shifts
• Stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs as required
