Job summary

RTX in Melbourne, FL is seeking an entry level FPGA Engineer 1 to join the onsite team. You will work on ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC digital architecture, develop RTL and verification testbenches, and support placement, timing, and cross-domain analyses.

You will contribute to DO-254 certification artifacts for airborne hardware and collaborate with engineers across projects in a safety-critical aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or STEM field.
• Experience writing RTL and testbenches with VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Experience using FPGA tools (Questasim, Vivado, Libero, Synplify Pro).
• Experience with Linux/unix, scripting, C/C++, Python or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements, decompose and traceability for ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC digital architectures.
• Develop RTL design code and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
• Create test cases and procedures for verification environments using SystemVerilog or VHDL.
• Create placement and timing constraints and perform synthesis, place and route.
• Perform static timing analysis, linting, LEC and clock-domain-crossing; verify with inspection, analysis, simulation and test methods.
• Create DO-254 certification artifacts for AEH.
