GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an entry-level FPGA Design/Verification Engineer to support the full FPGA lifecycle across Xilinx and Microsemi devices, following DO-254.

You'll design, simulate, verify, test, and integrate FPGAs into circuit card assemblies, document work for certification, and collaborate with hardware and systems engineers. Opportunities to grow and lead junior teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 years of professional engineering experience, including internships and co-ops.

Responsabilités

• Design, simulate, and verify FPGAs and manage requirements.
• Support FPGA design lifecycle on Xilinx, Microsemi, and other families.
• Prepare documentation for DO-254 certification.
• Test and integrate FPGA into circuit card assembly.
• Contribute to product development and improvements.
• Explain technical information clearly to teammates and customers.
