Job summary

Advanced Energy in Denver, CO is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst I to gain broad exposure to enterprise FP&A, forecasting, and reporting. The role provides rotational exposure across Corporate FP&A and related functions to build a strong foundation in modeling, variance analysis, and business communication.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Solid Excel fundamentals (formulas, pivot tables, basic data cleanup).

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and updating models used for OPEX, CAPEX, and consolidated financial forecasts, including key drivers, assumptions, and sensitivities.
• Prepare clear and structured variance analyses (what changed, why it changed, and what it means).
• Support the creation of monthly dashboards and recurring reporting packages with clear takeaways for FP&A leadership.
• Contribute to quarterly, annual, and long range planning cycles, including data gathering, consolidation, and analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders across corporate functions to translate business activity into financial insights.
