Job summary

Upbound Group, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern for Draper, UT as part of the FLEX program. You’ll rotate through FP&A, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Treasury, gaining hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

You will work with cross-functional teams, prepare analyses and presentations for senior leaders, and develop leadership and analytical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and December 2027.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance, financial strategy, capital markets, or corporate development.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven leadership potential through academic achievement, internships, campus involvement, athletics, military service, or extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Analyze business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and business case development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Operations.
• Prepare presentations and insights for finance and business leaders.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to support business decisions.
• Participate in special projects that improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
• Deliver a final project presentation to senior leaders.
