Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. (AFNA) Lampasas Plant is seeking a 1st Shift General Utility I. This entry-level role involves inspecting products entering or exiting the cooker, monitoring pack-off operations, and stacking cases on pallets in a loud, climate-controlled plant.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to GMP/GSP standards, and use PPE as required. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and self-driven.
• Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pre-cooked or post-cooked food products entering or exiting the cooker.
• Monitor frozen products in the pack-off area; stack finished product cases onto pallets.
• Follow GMP/GSP guidelines and communicate issues to leadership.
• Wear PPE as required and observe safety procedures.
