Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Oakland, MS, is seeking an entry-level Extra Support / Palletizer for the Oakland Plant line. The role involves inspecting products, monitoring packing areas, and stacking finished cases onto pallets while maintaining line standards.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 50 pounds, checking packaging for damage, and following GMP and safety protocols. Training will be provided for new hires.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Diploma/GED
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and self-driven with good communication
• Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble and/or pack product meeting line standards.
• Lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Check packaging material for damage and notify Lead of any non-compliant products.
• Perform line sanitations/housekeeping and monitor packing equipment for issues.
• Ensure correct pallet label and sticker information is applied and cases are stacked securely.
• Understand different case pack sizes and weight ranges and adjust tape machine configurations.
• Maintain speed and adapt to different line speeds and case standards.
• Performs all other work as assigned.
• Demonstrate respectful communication with team members.
• Communicate production issues per GMP and GSP guidelines.
• Participate in break rotations and collaborate with team.
• Inspect products for quality and dispose of non-compliant items.
