Job summary

Star Construction, LLC in Alabaster, AL is seeking an entry-level Flagger to manage traffic around active worksites and assist with general construction tasks under supervision.

Applicants must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, hold a HS diploma or GED (or relevant experience), and possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. Commitment to safety and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Control traffic in and around active worksites with hand signs and paddles
• Prepare flags, cones, signs and markers
• Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman or Supervisor as needed
• Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
• Follow local, state and federal DOT guidelines
• Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
