• Operate firefighting apparatus, tools, radios, hoses, ladders, and safety equipment at incidents.
• Position department vehicles; perform rescue and lifesaving work and use life support equipment.
• Inspect and test equipment; participate in maintenance and readiness checks daily.
• Assist in fire prevention inspections and related educational activities.
