Job summary

Mechanical Services & Design in Dayton, OH is seeking a Fire & Security Installation Assistant to support the installation and service of fire alarm, security, camera, and access control systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, gain hands-on training toward the Ohio Fire Alarm License, and grow into a licensed technician through mentorship and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and service of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Help install and troubleshoot security systems, cameras, and access control equipment.
• Install and support network and fiber optic cabling.
• Learn proper installation techniques from experienced technicians; attend training.
