Job summary

The Fire-Fighter-Sales-and-Service-Company is seeking an entry-level Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Installation Apprentice to support installation, testing, and maintenance of life-safety systems. You will assist senior technicians across fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and data cabling in commercial environments.

Responsibilities include conduit installation, wiring, and adherence to NEC/NFPA standards, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree is a plus.
Basic knowledge of wiring and electrical construction.
Experience using electronic test equipment and troubleshooting tools.
Basic understanding of blueprints and wiring schematics.
Proficient with hand and power tools used in electrical and low voltage work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Support work on fire suppression systems and access control technologies.
Install and configure CCTV systems and related wiring.
Run and terminate voice/data cabling and install conduit per NEC/NFPA standards.
Review project scope and drawings with lead technician before starting work.
