Job summary

Coffman Engineers in Boise is seeking an entry-level Fire Protection Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work on designing fire protection systems, life safety analyses, and related calculations as part of a collaborative office environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and a strong interest in growth within our Fire Protection department, with opportunities to learn from licensed engineers and NICET-trained staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with drafting software (REVIT and AutoCAD) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a high-functioning team.

Responsibilities

• Support automatic suppression system design and fire detection work.
• Assist with code analyses, egress analysis, and life safety concepts.
• Collaborate with the Fire Protection department to deliver client projects.
