Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from accredited college or university.
• Civil, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degrees will be considered.
• Background working in the Fire Protection or Fire Alarm industry (preferred).
• Experience with drafting software (REVIT and AutoCAD) (preferred).
• General building construction knowledge (preferred).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a high-functioning team.

Responsibilities

• Support automatic suppression system design, fire detection, alarm and communication system design.
• Conduct code analyses, egress analyses, and fire-resistance/construction analyses as needed.
• Assist in applying fire protection and life safety concepts and research within projects.
