Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to contribute to business management of projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion. You will participate in forecasting and accounting practices within the Power Market, located across the United States with opportunities for relocation.

This role sits in Operational Finance and supports cost reporting and billing workflows. The position requires 0–2 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of teamwork and adapts to project needs.
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and learns the work.
• Understands payroll and HR processes and uses systems to hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees.
• Maintains purchasing workflow controls and manages invoices and payments.
• Troubleshoots accounts payable and vendor issues.
• Manages intercompany and client billing processes and timely billing documentation.
• Reviews cost and budget reports for accuracy and reporting to management.
• Identifies forecast and budget issues and reconciles cost reports.
