Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a System Performance Engineer I to support the Southern California region, with 90% field travel. The role includes site surveys, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of DAS and related wireless systems.

The entry-level position offers on-the-job training, with pay commensurate with experience, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). 40+ hours weekly in field settings with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a wireless or other technology related field.
• High school + 2 years technical or equivalent; working towards a degree.

Responsibilities

• Repeater commissioning and optimization for DAS systems.
• DAS commissioning & optimization across sites.
• Performing site surveys.
• BM and post-install data collection.
• Troubleshooting basic systems and issues in the field.
• Data packing and reporting per standards.
• Set up remote access and alarming for repeaters and DAS.
• Learn RF math to understand DAS design, commissioning, and optimization.
