Job summary

Communication Technology Services LLC is seeking a System Performance Engineer to support our Northern California region. The role includes 90% field travel and hands-on RF engineering with DAS, Small Cell and Private Wireless networks.

The candidate will perform RF benchmarks, data analysis and collaborate with CTS teams to ensure networks meet design and SLA requirements in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, salaried position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of RF Engineering, In-Building DAS, RAN or Small Cell experience with RF Math competency.
• Advanced knowledge of industry test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Demodulator, Cable Analyzer, Power Meters, Scanners, UE’s).
• Ability to complete RF Link Budgets, Power Sharing and Noise Figure Calculations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and iBwave design files.

Responsibilities

• Onsite technical implementation and troubleshooting of In-Building DAS and other managed networks.
• Perform RF benchmarks, data collection and analysis.
• Interface with CTS operations teams to ensure networks are built to high quality standards.
• Conduct CW testing, spectrum analysis, and OTDR/PIM testing as required.
• Maintain project documentation and support after-hours as needed.
