Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks a Survey Instrument Operator I to join our Midland, TX team. You will set up and operate survey instruments, perform calculations, and support field data collection on public and private projects.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with total stations, GPS, data collectors, and levels, under supervision, with travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience considered.
• College/technical courses in math or surveying preferred.
• Entry-level role; any surveying experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate survey instruments and perform surveys as directed by management.
• Set up and operate equipment such as total-station, data collector, level and GPS.
• Perform survey calculations and stakeout/locations surveys.
• Maintain equipment and assist with field data collection on site.
