Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, hires Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. You will serve as a technical resource for customers and the sales force, working independently or in small teams in a field service environment.

As an apprentice, you will spend time with a senior Technician, learning our products and customers and preparing to work on your own.

Qualifications

• Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment.
• Some prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful.
• This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.
• Good customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities.
• In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force.
• This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.
