Job summary

Prosum is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer for on-site work in South Chandler, AZ. You will join a team that installs, maintains, and troubleshoots advanced semiconductor inspection and metrology systems, with hands-on exposure to lasers and vacuum/optical components.

Ideal candidates are new graduates with hands-on FSE experience or internships, ready to travel internationally and contribute to cross-functional customer support and product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Physics, Materials Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Hands-on diagnostic tool experience and ability to operate oscilloscopes, DVMs and hand tools.
• Experience in cleanroom environments and familiarity with lasers and optical systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex semiconductor inspection and metrology systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades in cleanroom environments.
• Interface with customers to assess issues and deliver technical solutions.
• Support system integration, calibration, and testing processes.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide service reports and feedback to management.
• Participate in equipment evaluations and product improvement initiatives.
• Support local service operations and customer relationships.
