Job summary

Kiewit’s Southeast District seeks an Entry Level Quality Specialist to coordinate, document, and report quality control and quality assurance activities on transportation projects. You may witness inspections and tests and compile required documentation for the assigned areas.

This field- or shop-based role requires travel and relocation as needed, with base compensation as listed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field (0-2 years of experience).
• Familiarity with construction-related quality control procedures preferred.
• Certifications such as ASQ, CQM, CQA, or CWI are a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and tests and align with project schedules and production goals.
• Witness inspections and tests and document results for QA records.
• Review and approve inspection/test results for compliance with contract documents, codes, and standards.
• Identify and address client concerns and maintain transparent communication regarding quality.
• Collaborate with operations to develop work packs and required inspections and documentation.
