Job summary

Plains All American is seeking an entry‑level Pipeliner I to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on pipeline assets in a field‑based setting. You will work under supervision and support aging infrastructure with a focus on safety and reliability.

Key tasks include routine upkeep of stations and facilities, helping technicians, reading maps and technical drawings, and complying with PHMSA/OSHA regulations. A valid US driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret pipeline maps, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Must have basic mechanical aptitude.
• Must have basic computer skills: Excel, Microsoft Office, Word.
• Must be familiar with PHMSA and OSHA regulations.
• Valid US driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Cleared criminal history and satisfactory reference checks.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for duration of employment.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, upkeep and cleaning of station, pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Performs routine scheduled and non-scheduled equipment maintenance with guidance from maintenance personnel.
• Assists Mechanical and Electrical Technicians with repairs; delivers parts and supplies to jobsites.
• Assists in pipeline coating or related repairs.
• Assists in environmental clean-up and leak repairs.
• Assists in construction and special projects as needed.
• Installs and operates hot tap machines, reads rectifiers.
• Cleans and maintains rights‑of‑way; performs safety duties and one-call tasks.
