Job summary

McNally Tunneling Corporation, a Weeks Marine subsidiary, seeks an entry-level Field Engineer for a Cleveland tunnel project. You will support the project engineering staff, assist with temporary works, AutoCAD drafting, surveys, daily/weekly reports, submittals, and procurement.

Location is Cleveland, OH. The role requires BS in Engineering and strong English, with internship/construction experience a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical or construction management) required.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD and Primavera P6 a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to read contract drawings.
• Previous internship or construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to monitor production and adjust to maximize output.
• Plan and develop work plans for project operations.
• Coordinate survey needs with the survey department.
• Provide daily support to craft supervision and project engineers.
• Coordinate procurement of temporary or permanent materials as assigned.
• Assist with planning and implementation of construction activities.
• Support environmental monitoring as needed.
• Generate daily reports and maintain proper job records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
