Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. in the Rocky Mountain Region seeks an entry-level Field Engineer or Technician who is travel-ready and eager to build hands-on technical experience.

The role can be based out of Westminster, CO or Albuquerque, NM, engaging in commissioning, start-up activities, and field testing across data centers, life sciences, and industrial facilities. This position emphasizes rapid development through direct ownership of installation verification, wiring QA/QC, and

Qualifications

• Understanding of or exposure to field instrumentation, hardware panels and low voltage controls design.
• Understanding of control systems, components, PLC programming, SCADA programming and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Installation & QA/QC verification of control panels and field devices.
• Point-to-Point testing for field devices and network integration.
• Functional Performance Testing of control systems and devices.
• System-Level Testing to verify integrated operation of systems.
• Support field instrumentation and control system verification.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and customers during commissioning and testing.
