Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Dallas seeks an Entry-level Field Operations Assistant to support the project team for the Dallas Main division. You will help gather and coordinate information, ensure safety standards, and assist in maintaining schedule and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have a two-year college background in engineering or construction, strong communication, teamwork, and basic MS Office skills; a willingness to learn and contribute to project success is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education in Engineering or Construction or related field.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn.
• Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and grade work for building layout and control.
• Assist in implementation of site safety program.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining contract documents and digital field records.
• Help prepare Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
• Review drawings and shop drawings for proper coordination.
