Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Oklahoma City is seeking an entry-level Construction Field Engineer to join the Construction Management Team. The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing specifications, and supporting field activities on construction sites.

Minimal experience is required with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited). Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college/university.
• E.I or E.I.T. required to be obtained within 6 months of hiring on.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic computing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the review of engineering drawings.
• Under supervision, carries out specific assignments in preparing and assembling specifications.
• Participates in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks.
• Performs data acquisition and analysis, researching feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and/or regulatory specifications.
• Prepares material for reports and permit applications, gathering information and writing rough outline.
• Performs engineering calculations and field observations of construction where appropriate.
