Job summary

InfoWest, Inc. is seeking an entry-level infrastructure technician for on-site fiber construction in St. George, Utah. You will assist the foreman with digging trenches, installing conduit, vaults, and pedestals, and splicing fiber optic cables.

Candidates must lift 75 pounds, climb towers, and work in all weather. The role requires OSHA awareness, background checks, and a commitment to safety, with a 10-hour shift schedule Monday-Thursday and occasional variations.

Qualifications

• Must have the physical ability to climb towers and lift 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience with hand and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Duties include general labor related to telecommunications construction under supervision.
• Splice fiber optic cables and install/maintain equipment.
• Work around construction machinery and assist with site clean-up.
• Follow safety rules, training, and company policies at all times.
• Attend training opportunities and maintain assets, tools, and vehicles.
