Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or equivalent.
• Two years of related Human Services experience if the degree is in another field.
• BSW/MSW degrees and Virginia Social Worker license desirable.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laws, policies and regulations as applied to area of responsibility.
• Monitor, coordinate and administer programs as assigned.
• Coordinate services within area of responsibility.
• Interview and assess customer needs, education/skill levels, abilities, interests, and support systems.
• Inform clients of service programs, rules and their rights.
• Present cases to determine appropriate services and write/implement service plans.
• Provide case management to monitor compliance.
