DART's Good Faith Network in Kansas City seeks an Associate Community Organizer to mobilize faith communities and build power for justice.

You’ll learn organizing by engaging people, conducting research, and coordinating actions; you’ll participate in year-round trainings and gain hands-on experience in a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• No prior organizing experience is necessary.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate community members.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Ability to travel for several training events throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with people of faith in the community.
• Organize direct action assemblies involving hundreds or thousands of people.
• Recruit new congregations and coordinate local trainings.
• Coordinate an annual fundraising drive and support ongoing training.
