Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions is seeking a Fabrication Lead to drive safe, efficient production and continuous improvement on the shop floor in Austin, TX. You will develop schedules, select and develop staff, oversee Tier 2 boards, and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to ISO/EHS standards, and active participation in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. A discretionary bonus may be awarded based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading fabrication teams and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Knowledge of ISO and EHS compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with production scheduling and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and manpower for assigned areas.
• Leads and develops personnel for efficient operations.
• Owns Tier 2 boards to support strategic management decisions.
• Adapts to changes based on Customer delivery requirements.
• Identifies and resolves production problems with operators for continuous improvement.
• Supports performance reviews and employee development conversations.
• Manages timecards and time-off requests.
• Coordinates with maintenance to keep machinery running.
• Leads 5S and maintains organized workstations.
• Champions company Vision, Mission and Culture in daily actions.
• Engages in Employee Suggestions program and other duties as needed.
